Alice Riener moved to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina to work on post-disaster legal issues.  She is currently a staff attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services working with low income clients on a myriad of housing problems.  Originally from Washington DC, she received a B.A. in English from Columbia University and a JD from American University -Washington College of Law.
